I painted for a long time without an easel then one day my mom suggested that I get one. I had actually thought about it many times before but never wanted to buy one.
Well I'm glad I did and now everything I paint is on an easel. I was going to make one from the wood I had laying around but decided to just buy one.
My back thanks me all the time for getting an easel. Look around and find one YOU like. There are many types of easels out there but you have to find yours. I would not go for the real cheap skinny kind. I cant stand the cheap flimsy ones and as far as I'm concerned they are all fire wood.
